Being in a college that is on the semester system doesn't leave me time to have a wide assortment of hobbies. When I do have time, I do enjoy watching almost any sporting event. Below I have included links to the home pages of my favorite local teams.
The Atlanta Falcons made their first SuperBowl appearance this year. It was awesome. They had some good draft picks this year and have even signed a good backup quarterback. They may have finally built a franchise worthy of repeat playoff appearances.
This is Turner Field, the new home of the Atlanta Braves. I took the bottom picture at Opening Day last year. The Braves have dominated baseball in the 90s. They have a great farm system that continuously produces great young talent. Combining this young talent with a great General Manager that seems to find great veteran all stars every year will continue to make the Braves competitive.
This is a picture of Luther Williams Field, which is the home of our local minor league team, the Macon Braves. The Macon Braves are a single A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. They play at historical Luther Williams Field in Macon, GA. The Macon Braves are a great source of entertainment for college students who have limited money sources. The most expensive seat at their stadium cost the same as a ticket to a movie theater.
The Internet has also made it very easy to play fantasy sports. The fantasy game providers keep up with all stats and make it easy for you to keep up with how your favorite players are doing.
